- Bloomington-Normal Education Alliance

- The Bloomington-Normal Education Alliance was formed to promote and encourage a variety of cooperative efforts among Illinois State University, Heartland Community College, Bloomington School District 87, and McLean County Unit District No. 5. Since BNEA's formation, the Regional Office of Education #17 has joined the Alliance. Cooperative efforts include activities such as resource sharing in staff development and training, educational technology, grant development, joint purchasing agreements, program interrelationships, and other collaborative efforts. As the Alliance grows, other institutions and agencies may be added to expand and strengthen the collaborative potential.
