- Illinois Principals Association
-
- The Illinois Principals Association is a professional organization of building level school administrators. Two things lie at the core of what we do. The first core task is Professional Development. Through conferences, workshops and publications, the Association works to increase the knowledge and enhance the skills principals need in order to meet the demands of their ever increasingly complex jobs. We consider that we are building better schools by building better principals. The second core task is Solving Problems. Staff members with years of experience as elementary and secondary principals, an attorney and others are available to answer questions, provide services or furnish support. We like to say, "IPA is only a phone call away". The Association also works to Promote the Principalship and schools and has a statewide role as an Advocate for Children
